Perfect Peace

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

(Isaiah 26:3 NIV)

I’ve experienced it time and time again, especially during times of havoc, danger and grief. That peace, which can’t be grasped or explained, yet I know it’s the kind that Isaiah speaks of–the perfect, undisturbed peace of God, the peace that Paul tells us surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). The good news is that God offers this peace to anyone who is willing to trust in Him. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). You can count on His peace. It’s perfect.

God grants His perfect peace to those who trust in Him.
