Who Are Your Friends?

Don’t fool yourselves. Bad friends will destroy you.

(1 Corinthians 15:33 CEV)

Who are your friends? The truth is we’re prone to be influenced by the people that we associate with. In First Corinthians chapter fifteen, Paul warned the Christians in Corinth against the bad company of the false teachers, who had infiltrated their ranks and corrupted the good character of the Christians there by teaching things that weren’t correct. Years ago, I learned to pray for positive influences in my life and I challenge you to do the same. It’s God’s desire that we associate with good company.

We become like those we choose as our friends.

  1. Love this post!! It’s so true. I’m so blessed and thankful I have a good Christian group of friends. They are such an encouragement to me and my walk with Jesus. This has been a long time coming, my hearts desire and longing/prayer for a long time to find a group of positive influence like this.
