A Mountain Year

“‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.'”  – Zechariah 4:6 (NIV)

This year felt like climbing mountains I never planned to face. Some days I barely moved upward, and other days I slipped and wondered if I’d ever reach the top. The climb was exhausting, and there were moments I knew my own strength wasn’t enough. But God never asked me to climb alone.

He reminded me, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.” When I didn’t have the strength to keep going, His Spirit carried me. Step by step, He steadied my footing, gave me endurance, and kept me moving forward even when the path wasn’t clear.

Looking back now, I didn’t just survive the climb—I was changed by it. I made it, not because I was strong, but because God was faithful. And now, standing here, I know that no matter what mountains come next, I will never have to climb them alone.
