Take Time to Ponder

But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

(Luke 2:19 NIV)

A while ago, I found myself pondering about something that someone once said to me. Even though it sounded like a joke at first, I began to wonder about whether God was trying to tell me something. Only time will tell. Luke repeatedly tells us that Mary was a reflective person (Luke 2:19, 51). She took into consideration everything that everyone said to her about Jesus. If Mary found it important to reflect, how much more should we. Take time to ponder. God might be trying to tell you something important.

Take time to ponder. It’s worthwhile.
