No Fear of Death

I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far…
(Philippians 1:23 NIV)

The apostle Paul wasn’t afraid to die. In fact, he desired death, knowing that it would be an opportunity for him to be with Christ, which he tells us is “better by far.” In fact, no one who has ever made a commitment to follow Christ, who is the Resurrection and the Life, has ever been afraid of death. On the contrary, people who reject Jesus are the ones who dread the subject and dread to die. They don’t have the same hope that a believer does. The only way to overcome fear of death is to believe in the One who overcame death and is alive forevermore.

Faith in Christ helps us overcome our fear of death.
