Stronger Than Ever

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

(2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NIV)

It’s been often said that “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” and I believe that this is the point that Paul is making in today’s passage. Experiences that would normally send people to the pits, made Paul stronger. Similarly, as followers of Christ, God often uses difficult circumstances to shape our character and strengthen our faith. Learn to view your circumstances from God’s point of view. Only then will you become stronger than ever.

The difficult times can make us stronger.
