“All our livestock must go with us, too; not a hoof can be left behind. We must choose our sacrifices for the LORD our God from among these animals. And we won’t know how we are to worship the LORD until we get there.”
(Exodus 10:26 NLT)
Pharaoh had a problem letting the Hebrews go, let alone allow them to walk away with their possessions. I love Moses’ response though. He told Pharaoh that not a hoof would be left behind. In other words, they were going to take everything that belonged to them, and that’s what they did. In fact, the Israelites plundered the Egyptians! Like Pharaoh, Satan attempts to steal our God-given gifts, in particular our peace and joy. Jesus reminds us that Satan is the thief that comes only to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Like Moses, stand your ground and don’t allow the Enemy to rob you of what God has given you.
Don’t allow the Enemy to rob you of your God-given gifts.
