The angel touched me a second time and said, “Don’t be
frightened! God thinks highly of you, and he intends this
for your good, so be brave and strong.”
(Daniel 10:18-19 CEV)
The Apostle Paul had a similar idea in mind when he wrote, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 NIV). Walking with God has taught me to appreciate the hard times. Looking back, I can see how He intended them for my good. In fact, I’m grateful for the things He has allowed me to go through because they’ve strengthened my faith and love for Him. I admit that the pain that comes with the hardships is unbearable, but it has always been for my good. So be brave and strong when you go through difficulties, knowing that God intends them for your good.
God intends the difficult times for our good.
