Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
(Psalm 42:5 NIV)
There are times when like the psalmist, I also feel down for no apparent reason. However, I learned a long time ago that the secret to getting back on the right track is to do what the psalmist did – praise God.
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?” he asked. Then he was reminded of the answer he had discovered every time he was in that state, “Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.” Whenever you feel down and don’t necessarily understand why, do what the psalmist did – praise God for His saving help. Only then will your joy be restored.
Praise God at all times, especially when you feel down.

This is a topic that is close to my heart… Best wishes! Exactly where are your contact details though?
