New Day Every Day

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.

(Philippians 3:13 NLT)

I love new beginnings. The New Year brings with it new hopes, dreams and aspirations. We forget the past year and its troubles and look forward to begin the New Year full of vigour. Paul realized that there was no use dwelling on his sinful past. He chose to leave it behind as done with and settled, and to move forward. We’d be wise to do the same. We won’t get to where God wants us to be if we continue to dwell on our past. We’ve been blessed with another year, and each day is an opportunity to start over again. Today, forget the past and look forward to what lies ahead.

Every day is an opportunity to start over again.
