God’s Yearly Promise

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

(Psalm 27:14 NIV)

If we read the Bible, we’ll discover that God has made many great promises to His children. Every year, I look forward to what I like to call my yearly promise from God. There always seems to be a specific verse that resonates with me all year. A few years ago, I received the following promise, “Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Like most people, I was struggling with waiting and I remember the encouragement–and conviction–I received from God at that time. God’s promises are personal for everyone. As you read His Word, you, too, will find a promise that was meant just for you.

God makes personal promises to His children.
