It’s common sense to start from the bottom to get to the top, but so many of us try to circumvent our way to the top. But is it really worth it? Consider the London Eye, a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, and Europe’s tallest Ferris wheel. It takes 30 minutes for the London Eye to go up and 30 more to get down. A 60-minute ride! But without that one hour, no tourist would be able to completely enjoy and learn about London’s breathtaking views.
Learn to enjoy where you are to where you’re going. There are so many things God is teaching you along the way that only you will appreciate as you learn to rise higher with the Son and above all that tries to bring you down. It might seem like a long ride but the end result will be worth it. Things will get clearer as you get closer to the top, but enjoy the process while you get there. After all, you’re not alone on this journey. “He who began the good work in you will continue His work until it is finally finished” (Philippians 1:6 NLT). So enjoy the ride!
