Now I Get It!

But they didn’t know what he meant. Its significance was hidden from them, so they couldn’t understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

(Luke 9:45 NLT)

When Jesus spoke about His death and resurrection, His disciples didn’t get it right away but later on they did. Similarly, whenever we go through things that we don’t necessarily understand at first, there comes a time when we do, especially if we ask God to help us. In my experience, whenever I ask God to help me make sense of things that I don’t get, He does, and the revelation leaves me grateful for the things that He didn’t let me go through. It’s been said that life is lived forwards, but understood backwards. I couldn’t agree more.

Everything will eventually make sense.
