You Live and Learn

These things happened to them as a warning to us. All this was written in the Scriptures to teach us who live in these last days.

(1 Corinthians 10:11 CEV)

Mistakes are inevitable. However, as unpleasant as they might be, they can actually teach us something, if we let them. As a family member would say, “You live and learn.” While I’m not proud of the mistakes that I’ve made, I’ve actually learned a lot from them and from those of others. After reviewing the Israelites’ past mistakes, the apostle Paul reminded the Corinthian Christians of the same thing. “These things happened to them as a warning to us. All this was written in the Scriptures to teach us who live in these last days.” Don’t be discouraged when you make a mistake. Instead, use it as an opportunity to grow into the person that God wants you to be.

Mistakes can be opportunities for growth.

  1. great post about making mistakes. It is very similar to one I wrote recently on the topic. Its important to have an open mindset and approach it with positivity.
