Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

When the heavy loads of life pile up, I hear His gentle whisper to come. So I desperately and gladly accept His invitation. I come to Him with all of the weight on my shoulders, all of my heartache and troubles, and He kindly replaces them with His easy yoke. And let me tell you something. Only someone who has come to Him multitudes of times can tell you how true His words are. I’ve always found the rest that my soul needs at His feet. I’m not sure where you go to find relief for the heavy loads that weigh you down, but I encourage you to accept His invitation and come, so that you, too, may find rest for your soul.
At Jesus’ feet, we find the rest that our soul needs.
