Do to others as you would like them to do to you.

It amazes me how quick we are to criticize the way people treat us and forget how we might have treated others. Jesus gave His hearers what has come to be known as the Golden Rule, “Do to others as you would like them to do to you.” In other words, if you want people to treat you well, then treat them well. If you don’t treat people well, then don’t be surprised when you aren’t treated well. As the well-known saying goes, “What goes around, comes around.”
Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.
