For a long time, I was a God pleaser and a people pleaser at the same time. So you can imagine how convicting the above passage was for me. I’ve come a long way, but I’m still praying that I’d be a God pleaser and not a people pleaser. It’s a liberating experience when you decide to please God rather than people. You can’t always please people, but you can please God.
We can’t always please people, but we can please God.
