So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
(1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT)
I’ve never known anyone who served God and didn’t think that it was worthwhile. The Corinthian Christians were aware of this fact. After encouraging them to always give themselves fully to the Lord’s work, Paul reminds them why, “you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” Knowing this keeps me going when I’d otherwise feel like quitting.
Everything we do for God is worthwhile.
