Love Always Protects

[Love] always protects.

(1 Corinthians 13:7 NIV)

This little guy thinks he’s everyone’s protector. He waits for everyone to get home and greets them with joy. At night, he stays by the door to ensure everyone’s safe. This is Milo. We find it incredible that a little dog like that can have such love and sense of obligation to protect his human family.

If you think that’s amazing, think about what the Bible says. God loves us unconditionally and He never takes His eyes off of us. “Behold, the Protector of Israel will not slumber or sleep” (Psalm 121:4 BSB). I’m thankful for Milo, but I’m even more thankful to have a big God who is always there waiting to welcome me at the end of a long day with love and joy. He is my Protector.
