He is Risen Indeed!

They got up at once and went back to Jerusalem, where they found the eleven disciples gathered together with the others and saying, “The Lord is risen indeed!” (Luke 24:33-34 GNT)

Jesus is risen indeed! The proof lies not only in the empty tomb, but in every heart that is filled with hope and every life empowered by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. Those who encounter the risen Christ are never the same. Every doubt and fear is replaced with faith and courage. Just as Jesus wasn’t recognized after His resurrection, His followers are transformed from the inside out as they begin to live by the power of His resurrection.

The devil knows this. That is why he will make you question and doubt Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. He knows that the moment your eyes are opened to this truth, you’ll live a life that rises above anything and anyone, including him! The most powerful thing you can do is to embrace the truth of Jesus’ resurrection and allow its power to consume your life. The resurrection changes us. That’s something worth embracing and celebrating every day!
