Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

There will always be those who would rather mourn than rejoice with you. Those who would rather offer their condolences than their congratulations. Don’t take it personally. People can’t give what they don’t have. Those who lack joy can’t rejoice with you. But you go ahead and dare to be different. Never become like the people who look for ways to steal your joy. Don’t overemphasize the sorrow and overlook the joy. “There is a time for everything…a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Ecclesiastes 3:1,4).
