Happy Endings

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.

(Job 8:21 NIV)

Job was misjudged by his friends, yet one of them, Bildad, spoke more accurately than he realized when he said to Job, “[God] will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.” Job’s life is proof that no matter how much pain and suffering we experience, God will eventually give us something to smile about. In fact, this is the promise throughout the Bible, and we see its fulfillment in the lives of many of its people. Christians today continue to testify to the fact that no matter what valley they’ve been through, God has always brought them through it. Don’t let the hard times beat you down. God will make you happy and give you something to smile about.

God writes stories with happy endings.
