Payday is Coming

That day the LORD saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore.

(Exodus 14:30 NIV)

After about four hundred years of Egyptian bondage, the Israelites were finally ready to walk away free. However, once again, Pharaoh had a change of mind and went after them to bring them back. Yet the Israelites witnessed a remarkable sight. After a long pursuit, they turned back only to see their slave masters lying dead on the shore, incapable of hurting them anymore. No matter how much we’ve been oppressed or mistreated, there will come a time when God will let us witness firsthand the end of our persecutors. So hold on a little while longer. Payday is coming.

God pays back trouble for those who trouble us.

Farah obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree (with a double major in English and Religious Studies) from the University of Toronto, where she also completed her Bachelor of Education (OISE).
