The Same Yesterday, Today and Forever

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

(Hebrews 13:8 NIV)

People change. Some change for better and others for worse. However, the good news is, Jesus Christ doesn’t. He is the same loving, forgiving, compassionate and faithful person that He was years ago and will continue to be the same in years to come. He never changes. “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you” (Isaiah 46:4). For someone who isn’t very fond of change, I love the fact that Jesus never changes and that He’ll be the same forever. His unchanging character makes Him trustworthy and reliable. So while change is inevitable for us, we can count on Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus Christ never changes.
